Syrup made from red berries

3
Components
  • 2 1/2 tea cups of red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, and blackberry – approximately 350 g)
  • 1 1/2 tea cups of sugar
  • Two lemon soups
Setup phase
  1. In a medium-sized pan, combine whole fruits with sugar and lemon juice. Cook over low heat for approximately 20 minutes until a thick syrup forms, allowing the fruits to soften and break down in the liquid.
  1. Pour the syrup into a bowl and allow it to cool before placing it in the refrigerator. Serve chilled over cakes, pies, or puddings.
No fresh fruit available?

Use frozen fruits; they can be transferred directly from the freezer to the pan.

Please provide the text you would like me to paraphrase.

The syrup can be kept in the refrigerator for up to one week, stored in a container with an airtight seal.
