Salmon spread

Components
  • 1 cup (tea) of salmon, either in pieces or diced into small cubes
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • One garlic clove
  • 1/3 cup of finely chopped leek
  • 2/3 cup of fresh milk cream (tea)
  • Three sprigs of thyme
  • Half a tablespoon of chopped French chives
  • Add salt and ground pepper as desired.
Setup phase
  1. Warm a pan over medium heat, pour in the olive oil, and brown the whole garlic clove, the leek, and the salmon. Reduce the heat, then add the cream, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cover the pan and let it cook for 10 minutes.
  1. Once cooled, take out the thyme sprigs and garlic clove.
  2. Blend the cream and then place it in the refrigerator.
  3. Combine the French chive and serve alongside toasts and bread.
Reduce spending

Certain fish markets offer salmon chips (cleaned fish pieces) at a lower price. If they don't, chop the salmon into cubes.
